BOSS Spring/Summer ’23 Runway Show Makes Waves in Miami
A little over a year past the substantive rebrand of BOSS, celebrities, media, and brand loyalists alike waited with bated breath as they took their seats for the BOSS Spring/Summer Fashion Show at Miami’s Herald Plaza last night. Staged in dark and watery wonderland, what proceeded to stream down the runway was a dialled-in juxtaposition of the brand’s sharp tailoring, and the incorporation of fabrics and styles that embraced fluidity and movement. Adding to the excitement, this runway show was unveiled in a “see now, buy now” format, so what you see below is immediately available via BOSS’ ecommerce platform.
It was certainly a star-studded walk for BOSS as several celebs, including Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Law Roach, Khaby Lame, DJ Khaled, Jordan Barrett, Caleb Williams and several others walked in the liquid-inspired show. That said, no amount of celebrity could overshadow BOSS’ new energy. The new collections showcased a lightweight, crinkled approach to materials, made up of a mix of buttery silks and smooth nylons that are pressed and enriched with a layer of colour.
Perhaps unintentionally, the show delivered its own sort of “come to Jesus” moment (sans religiosity), as seeing the entirety of this runway being walked on water — quite literally — felt present, and current. The show combined looks for both men and women, yet there were countless examples that stood out as pure and proper genderless fashion statements. We’re here for it.
