Four Seasons & SHARP

The best gift is an experience — and a mountain retreat at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is as exclusive as they come. Following a full renovation, the Private Residences in Whistler are reimagined, pulled even closer to the landscape they sit in. While they’re located right beside the hotel, the Private Residences are entirely separate. They set a new standard for inspired, home-away-from-home vacations, offering privacy and exclusivity while providing full access to all the exceptional amenities of the resort. Designed for the scale and quiet of the surrounding mountains, the luxurious new offering includes a slew of exclusive opportunities. Think: private chef, exclusive wellness centre, afternoon teas, dedicated concierge service; there’s even a cocktail masterclass. With all this in mind, it’s no surprise that the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has earned a nod from Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, where it was recognized as the #1 resort in Canada. Have we piqued your interest?

We’ll start by the welcome desk. Here, you’ll find plenty of personnel on hand. Whether you’re after a simple lay of the land or looking for a Four-Seasons-approved tourist spot, the concierge team is ready to help. “Every season is an opportunity for us to offer our guests and team members unparalleled experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime,” says Chelan Goonetilleke, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler.

Relaxed and remote, the rhythm of the residence will draw you in. The newly designed vacation homes include a range of layouts, from two-bedroom to four-bedroom plus den options. Stepping inside, guests will find thoughtfully curated for multi-generational travel, large families, or groups of friends. The goal is to let you get settled and not have to think too hard after that.

Equipped with extensive knowledge of the area, the concierge team can plan your itinerary down to the dinner reservation. “We take great pride in crafting moments of joy and connection that reflect the genuine care our team brings to every guest experience,” Goonetilleke adds. A variety of services and experiences are available exclusively for Private Residences guests — from pre-arrival grocery shopping to intimate private dining. Each residence also features a private fitness centre and a residents-only pool, offering a truly hyper-personalized stay with elevated comfort and thoughtful service.

Prefer to dine on the residence? You’re in luck: guests can book an In-Residence Private Chef Experience. Inspired by the natural elements of British Columbia, the Executive Chef will craft a customized, multi-course meal served with panoramic alpine views — an evening designed as an ode to culinary art. For something more low-key but no less satisfying, there’s also the Family Supper Crockpot. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a warm meal ready and waiting after a day in the snow. Give them 24 hours and it’ll be on your table. Plus, all residence guests can enjoy breakfast at Braidwood Tavern; the restaurant offers a delightful assortment, ranging from homemade pastries to eggs Benedict and Canadian classics.

Excursions aside, there’s hardly a need to leave. Guests of the residence enjoy private access to an outdoor pool, whirlpool, and fitness facility — and that’s in addition to the resort’s standard amenities. Ideal for the winter months, the Private Residence offers a vintage patio camper and cozy fire pit; it’s an excellent way to decompress, recharge, and relax.

Once you’re ready for an alpine adventure, head to the base of Blackcomb Mountain — just five minutes on foot or a complimentary, blink-and-it’s-over shuttle ride from the resort. There, you’ll find the Express Ski Concierge, a service that offers fast-track access and expert care for gear storage, lessons, and more to optimize every moment on the mountain.

Zoom down the slopes to your heart’s content, but make sure you’re back at the resort by four. Every afternoon, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler offers a daily wine reception from 4 to 5 PM. Held year round, the reception features a delectable variety of British Columbia reds and whites.

We’ve only skimmed the surface here: the Private Residences offer a whole suite of extras. To prepare for a day of skiing, for instance, guests can book a one-hour sunrise yoga session. Follow the class with a delectable keto breakfast, topped off with an energizing smoothie and fresh coffee. Prefer to unwind with an adult beverage? Check out the Cocktail Masterclass, where top bartenders will give a crash course in mixology. Guided by experienced bartenders, guests can learn how to make (and drink) their own signature cocktails, all from the comfort of their private home. For the creatively-inclined, there’s even a private painting course, taught by a local artist and offered on-site.

With private amenities, a personalized service team, and full access to all the resort has to offer, Four Seasons Private Residences Whistler provide an exclusive mountain retreat crafted for connection, celebration, and unforgettable alpine living.
