For Pedro Pascal, The Last of Us was anything but.

Since his breakout role in Game of Thrones, the Chilean-American actor has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the ranks of Hollywood, racking up compelling roles in Narcos and The Mandalorian and garnering critical acclaim with projects like Fantastic Four, Eddington, De Noche, and the soon-to-come Behemoth! His resume reveals a restless, enigmatic creativity that transcends category and resists definition — a quality that led Pascal to Matthieu Blazy’s CHANEL. In his newest role as a House Ambassador, Pascal pairs his passion and charisma with imaginative silhouettes from CHANEL.

“Pedro is a wonderful man and an incredible actor. His kindness, talent and his vision of the world are both inviting and inspiring.”Matthieu Blazy

“I love Matthieu [Blazy]’s vision, which I find powerful, elegant, and incredibly warm: it shows me how we could exist together, there’s something for everyone in his universe. I am happy and honoured to join it and I am eager to see what Matthieu has planned for the future,” Pascal says.

It’s not the first time that Pascal has shown love to CHANEL. Just last month, the Materialists star donned a sparkling beige gold Boy-Friend watch for the Academy Awards. “The House has a remarkable ability to honour its heritage while remaining modern and relevant,” Pascal adds.

Matthieu Blazy, successor to longtime CHANEL creative director Karl Lagerfeld, returns the praise. “Pedro is a wonderful man and an incredible actor,” Blazy shares in a statement. “His kindness, talent and his vision of the world are both inviting and inspiring. We are thrilled to welcome him to the CHANEL family and I’m happy to embark on this adventure together.”

After Pascal attended the Spring Summer 2026 show at the Grand Palais in Paris — Blazy’s debut collection for the label — the actor was eager to join CHANEL for its next chapter. “I am excited to be part of that evolving story,” Pascal says.

So, what does this mean for CHANEL’s next collection? Only time will tell. But, if partnering with Pascal is any indication, it’s sure to be a stylish surprise.
