Range Rover is approaching the electric era with rare confidence. The British brand has as decided to simply offer its customers one of everything: gas, plug-in hybrid, or fully electric. Have whatever you want! But, crucially, no matter which one you choose, it’s still very obviously a Range Rover first and everything else second.

That the Electric is nearly identical to the gas-powered models shows Range Rover is listening to its customers. “Don’t change it” is their usual refrain in focus groups. And the stats are impressive: dual motors, 800-volt architecture, 350-kW fast charging, nearly 550 horsepower and an estimated real-world range of up to 535 kilometres. It’ll do everything a Range Rover does, only smoother, with less noise and zero tailpipe emissions. Sounds pretty perfect if you ask us.

It’s what it says on the tin: an electric Range Rover Sport. At the time of writing, details on range and performance have yet to be released, but it’s a safe bet the Sport will be a lot like its big sibling.

This is the one nobody saw coming: an all-new fifth model in Range Rover’s lineup. Only camouflaged photos of the exterior exist, but interior photos clearly show a next-generation cabin. Martin Limpert, the brand’s managing director, described it as Range Rover’s interpretation of a modern electric grand tourer. Think: sharp handling and gravel-road capability. Expect more details later this year.
