Rental cars, broadly speaking, leave much to be desired; we all know this, and yet we all still go through the same frustrating rigamarole every single time. The car options are lacklustre at best.

At the link in bio, we break down @turo’s rental business model and if it’s as good a solution as it seems.

When it comes to the essence of Italian dining, Zachary Kolomeir says it boils down to two elements quintessential to the culture’s rich culinary roots.

In Toronto’s Little Italy, restaurants’ reliance on those items tends to yield “a very non-traditional Italian experience,” says the head chef and co-owner at @nlginzburg, which recently opened near the eastern edge of that very neighbourhood (at 548 College St.). “We wanted to do something more authentic by combining two of the most Italian things we know: warm hospitality and local ingredients.”

For @joeledgerton, starring as the logger Robert Grainier in Netflix’s “Train Dreams” was not about becoming someone else, but about the act of unmasking. In a career filled with dynamic, often “louder” roles, this quiet, deeply expressive performance is, by his own admission, the most personally connected he has ever been. It’s also the most exposing role yet. Since it’s release the actor has received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance, cementing him as a front runner for this upcoming award season.

From Rami Malek’s Oscar-winning turn as Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody” to @tchalamet’s portrayal of Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown” and @jeremyallenwhitefinally’s Springsteen-inspired “Deliver Me From Nowhere”, the musical biopic has become a proving ground for A-listers. The question is: are these actors interested in artistic ambition or merely checking another box on the road to what they hope is award glory?

@waltongogginsbonafide is a mastermind who conjures a wealth of new worlds and characters from the depths of his imagination. Goggins unleashes that signature duality once again in the retro-futuristic canvas of Prime Video’s second season of “Fallout”. He reprises his role as the 200-year-old gunslinging Ghoul, while also portraying the human, Cooper Howard. Goggins views the type of long-form character study that television allows as a spiritual exploration, one that he has thoroughly enjoyed for decades.
