Our Favourite Piece From Nordstrom’s Korean-Inspired Pop-Up

Nordstrom knows how to kick the New Year off right, and in this case, it’s by letting Olivia Kim, Vice President of Creative Projects and resident cool girl, put together a three-part series of pop-up shops exploring exciting Korean fashion and beauty brands. The first KPOP-IN@Nordstrom is all about sunglasses by Gentle Monster.

Gentle Monster was founded in Seoul in 2011 and quickly got love from customers and fellow fashion brands — case in point: the young brand already has plenty of coveted collaborations under it’s belt, with the likes of Opening Ceremony, Tome, and Hood by Air. They’re know for creating unique frames that balance that fine line of trendy and classic that is key for successful eyewear.

Our favourite of the killer selection available at Nordstrom? The Double Erok icy blue and silver sunnies that pair a sleek metal frame with grey acetate insets, mesh side pieces, and barely-there lenses that look as cool as it is outside, while still reflecting all of that winter glare.
