Mercedes-Benz’s First Private Jet Is Almost Definitely Nicer Than Your House
Man, Mercedes be makin’ moves lately. Yesterday, we alerted you to the existence of this sure-to-be-rapper-coveted Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet. A mere 24 hours later, we’ve learned the German automakers will be dipping their toes into the highly accessible waters of personal aviation. Before you scroll any further, please be aware that the photos in this post are likely to make you feel terrible about your current place of residence. I mean, look at this thing:
Nicer than your spot, right? Ours, too. Designed in collaboration with German aircraft company Lufthansa Technik, the jet’s layout is about as luxurious and well-appointed as you’re likely to find anywhere outside of Air Force One.
Capable of undertaking short- and medium-haul journeys, the plane features all the comforts of your average modern mega-mansion: there’s a spacious lounge area, a functional kitchen, dining room, entertainment suite and private bedroom, among many other amenities.
Mercedes-Benz has yet to drop any further details, but they’re expected to officially unveil the jet at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
