A decade of looking better, feeling better, and knowing more calls for a toast. Of course, being us, we set our sights a little higher: over 700 of Canada’s influencers, celebrities, wheelers and dealers joined us for a lavish, lively and loud celebration, commemorating Sharp’s 10th anniversary and The Book For Men Spring/Summer 2017 issue.
Toronto’s historic, recently revamped Waterworks building provided the ideal setting for the soiree. Upon entry, guests were offered the opportunity to become Sharp cover stars (i.e. having the images superimposed onto the cover) while posing alongside Jaguar Land Rover’s muscular vehicles. Paco Rabanne Invictus & Olympea provided more Instagrammable moments with their 180-degree photo array booth. And just in case you weren’t quite ready for your close-up, Tweezerman was on site offering barber touch-ups.
The luxurious distractions were legion: Breitling’s VIP area served up cognac samplings and views of their arresting timepieces; Miyabi Knives showcased their beautiful blades in action; Glenmorangie allowed guests to refine their golfing skills with a putting green alongside their scotch bar; and American Crew kept us entertained with their wine bar and gallery showcasing today’s most dapper styles.
Conversations were kept interesting with potations courtesy of Martell Cognac, Crystal Head Vodka, Peroni, and Robert Mondavi. Meanwhile, WayHome’s guest DJ ensured the party remained bumping throughout.
