We are all in favour of a good time — especially a good time for a good cause. That’s just what we got last week, as the Tav Malhotra Invitational, an annual event in support of youth financial literacy programs across the GTA, raised $100,000.
The day kicked off with a golf tournament at Glen Abbey Golf Club, featuring business leaders and VIPs alongside the event’s creator, finance mogul Tav Malhotra. Later that evening, notable guests like The Funky Bunch, Sherman Hamilton, and Cabbie Richards attended an exclusive forest-style party at the Globe and Mail Centre, presented by Mansha Financial.
In 2018, the TMI funded 22 financial literacy workshops, helping over 1000 students across the GTA. With the funds raised this year, they’ll be able to impact over 10,000 youths and set the on the right path. Good on them!
