Zenitude Paloma

Tequila collage tromba blanco paloma Father's Day cocktail

Spirits: Tequila Tromba Blanco

Tequila Tromba springs from a craft distillery deep in the mountains of Los Altos — a terrain sketched on the crystal clear Tromba Blanco bottle. The spirit offers light notes of citrus, accenting the taste of premium distilled agave with honey, caramel, and a refreshing pineapple. Paired with fresh lime and grapefruit juice, the cocktail is an excellent summer evening sip.

Ingredients:

45 ml green tea infused Tromba Blanco

30 ml St-Germain (or an elderflower liqueur of your choosing)

60 ml fresh grapefruit juice

15 ml fresh lime juice

2 dashes Ms Better’s Bitters Cucumber Bitters

60 – 90 ml club soda

15 ml egg whites

1 tsp black lava salt

1 dehydrated lime wheel to garnish

Method:

Rim a tall glass with salt — for a natural adherent, douse a paint brush in agave nectar, then dip it in salt and glide it along the glass rim. In a shaker, build the first ingredients: tequila, St. Germain, juices, bitters, and egg whites. Shake it vigorously before adding ice, then shake again. Once blended, fill your glass with ice and strain the mix into it. Top the blend with soda and add a lime wheel to garnish. Mix with a straw and serve.

Glendalough Collins

Glendalough Collins Cocktail and bottle Father's Day

Spirits: Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin

Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin captures the essence of spring in a bottle. The brand forages for wild plants local to the distillery, sustainably harvesting them before extracting their natural taste with a slow distillation. Instead of a conventional, standardized process, Glendalough decides a unique cut point for each batch guided by smell and taste. The bespoke flavours shine through, with fresh botanical notes that complement cocktail garnishes.

Ingredients:

50 ml Wild Botanical Gin

10 ml apple cider vinegar

30 ml sugar syrup

8 mint leaves

100ml sparkling water

Method:

Start by filling your glass of choice with ice. Then, bust out a cocktail shaker and add all the ingredients, save for sparkling water. Shake hard and slowly strain the mix over your ice-filled glass. Top with the sparkling water and garnish with an orange twist and a mint sprig. For an extra-summery kick, try swapping simple syrup out for a blend of elderflower and rose syrups (15 ml each).

Ingredients:

50 ml Stoli® Premium Vodka

125 ml lemonade

3 parts big mint sprig and lemon wheel to garnish

Method:

Fill your glass until it brims with large ice cubes before gently stirring together vodka and lemonade. Next, add in a small bouquet of mint and/or garnish with a wheel of lime.
