Going Bespoke
Range Rover & SHARP
Speak softly and carry a big stick, they say. Well, as the fastest and most powerful machine in the British marque’s long history, the Range Rover Sport SV certainly carries a big stick. It doesn’t need to shout. There’s no need for dazzling colours or glitzy chrome; this machine has enough presence without all that. All of which is to explain why, for SHARP Magazine’s build of Range Rover Sport SV, we’re going understated.
As Jay-Z once said, “all black everything.”
Edition One

“New Range Rover Sport SV exemplifies Range Rover’s philosophy, not just as a bold evolution beyond its Range Rover Sport SVR predecessor, but also in the personalized approach we are taking with our most discerning clients,” explained Geraldine Ingham, Range Rover’s managing director.
To that end, the 2024 Range Rover SV EDITION ONE was initially available by invitation-only and reserved for select clients globally. Naturally, it sold out quickly. The EDITION ONE’s specification represented, according to the company, the best feature combinations, colours and finishes. So, how do we top that for our SHARP Build?
The wonderful thing about style is there’s no such thing as ‘The Best.’ Style is deeply personal. So, if you missed out on the EDITION ONE, don’t fret. The 2025 Range Rover Sport SV is coming and you’ll soon be able to bespoke it to suit your own sense of style.
Stealth Mode
One of the reasons we’re so fond of the Range Rover Sport SV is because it bundles sports-car performance into a practical go-anywhere, do-anything SUV package. Unless you know enough to spot the subtle cues — the carbon-fibre wheels, the bass-heavy exhaust note, the purposefully lowered stance — the average bystander would never guess this family-friendly SUV is can sprint from 0-100 km/h in well under four seconds thanks to a highly-tuned 626 horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8. We love how stealthy this thing can be if you tick the right option boxes.
Obviously, for the SHARP Build we’ll be spec’ing the stunning 23-inch carbon-fibre wheels. Not because they save a total of 35.6 kilograms, which they do, but because these rims just look hot. You won’t find wheels like these on any other factory SUV.

The carbon wheels pair oh-so-well with the carbon tips on the quad exhaust pipes, as well as the carbon on the Range Rover script, front bumper blades, grille surround and air vents.
We’re also spec’ing the Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, because those monster eight-piston SV calipers look so right behind the carbon rims. Besides, with 626 horsepower onboard we like the peace-of-mind that comes from knowing we’ve got Brembo’s ceramic stoppers to slow it all down. The calipers are available in yellow, red, carbon bronze or black; we’d go with that lovely bronze hue. Unless, that is, we could dip into the world of SV Bespoke where just about anything is possible. In that case we’d have these calipers painted a deep, dark purple.

For paintwork, we’d have the Obsidian Black Gloss exterior paint with Exposed Gloss Carbon Fibre hood. That colour looks as deep as the ocean, and flies well under the radar.
Inside, we’d once again tap the SV Bespoke division to have all-black everything. If the airy Ultrafabrics 3D-Knit fabric is available in black, we’d select that for the seats. If not, we’re going old-school with black leather and — assuming SV Bespoke will oblige — deep purple stitching to match those custom brake calipers.
When it comes to in-car audio, this Range Rover is like a listening room on wheels. The 29-speaker, 1,430-watt Meridian Signature Sound System works in conjunction with the new Body and Soul Seat (BASS). In a first for a production vehicle, the BASS system uses industry-leading SUBPAC technology to add a tactile layer to your favourite tracks, generating high fidelity audio vibrations so occupants can literally feel the music. It’s a must-have for us.

As for trim, we’ll take all the carbon-fibre Range Rover has to offer, carrying the carbon exterior theme into the cabin for continuity. Since the Range Rover Sport SV comes incredibly well-equipped from the factory with all the screens and high-tech gadgets a driver could ever want, that pretty much rounds out the SHARP Magazine Range Rover Sport SV. Any lingering disappointment about missing out on the EDITION ONE should be eased knowing you’ll soon be able to spec the 2025 Range Rover Sport SV to your heart’s content.
