SHARP x Tiffany & Co.
A new design by Tiffany & Co. brings Jean Schlumberger’s archives to life — with a twist. Dubbed the “Bird on a Pearl” capsule, the storied jeweller uses natural pearls from the Gulf region to reinterpret Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock motif. Signature Tiffany diamonds cast a glow across a spectrum of earthy shades, from deep chocolate brown to sultry yellow gold and glamorous white creams. Perched on a shining pearl, the avian accessory is striking as ever.
Tiffany & Co.’s Chief Artistic Officer, Nathalie Verdeille, designed the 2025 Bird on a Pearl Collection with six distinct chapters in mind: Bird on a Pearl, Acorn, Oak Leaf, Cascade, Inverted Petals, and Ribbon. A common thread ties each piece together. “This collection celebrates the beauty of nature, further elevating it through craftsmanship and creativity that only Tiffany can deliver,” says Tiffany CEO Anthony Ledru.

Accordingly, the titular pearls are sourced from Mr. Hussein Al Fardan, whose collection of natural saltwater pearls spans decades. A leading voice in natural pearls, Fardan hand-selected his favourite pearls for Tiffany’s collection; Fardan’s contributions are unrivalled in size, shape, and lustre.
Leaning into Jean Schlumberger’s daring and whimsical approach to design, the collection embraces a natural asymmetry, honouring the unique roots of each pearl. “Each piece is a testament to Jean Schlumberger’s visionary artistry, reimagined with the world’s rarest pearls to create something truly timeless,” adds Ledru.
Highlights for men include the Tiffany Bird on a Pearl brooch, which frames a shimmering brown baroque pearl with pristine platinum and 18k yellow gold. Another iteration features a white, near-drop natural saltwater pearl with rubies alongside pink and white diamonds. Each piece is bold in its beauty, glimmering against suit lapels and sweaters.

Necklaces offer an exquisite display of natural pearls, too: the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Natural Saltwater Pearl necklace boasts string of white and yellow pearls totalling over 113 carats. Meanwhile, the Oak Leaf necklace pairs saltwater pearls with platinum and 18k yellow gold, alongside dazzling white diamonds and cognac diamonds.
Synthesizing natural beauty with Tiffany’s long legacy of outstanding craftsmanship, the collection is a stunning display of creativity. With the 2025 Bird on a Pearl collection, the storied jeweller hops aboard its rich heritage and flies forward.
