“It was slightly nerve-wracking at times, playing a character who is just out and out evil,” says British actor @alfieeallen. The “Game of Thrones” star steps on screen as Rick Hansen, a slimy schoolteacher who serves as the antagonist in the new series “Girl Taken”. Where other stories detail the making of a monster, “Girl Taken” describes his demise. “I think we successfully managed to tell a story that doesn’t just focus on the darker elements,” Allen adds. “It was also about the victim’s story, and how the family — and [Hansen’s] wife — bounced back from dealing with this person.”

Congratulations are in order for SHARP Cover Star Alum, @sethrogen who took home the Critics Choice Awards for ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Series’ and ‘Best Comedy Series’ for his hit show, ‘The Studio’.

Last year in an interview with SHARP, the actor shared insight into the conceptualization of ‘The Studio’: “A lot of these people who work at studios just want to be liked by the filmmakers and the actors and the writers, and they just want to feel as though they’re part of the creative side of things. But at the same time, they’re constantly having to do things for their own self-preservation.”
