The property is situated amid towering sycamore, cypress, and pecan trees, and includes not only a large boat dock but also a sandy beach.
The interior of the home is warm with a colour palette dominated by oak, mahogany, and cedar, inspired by its surroundings and an obvious reaction to the modern glass and limestone façade of the structure.
The relationship between the inside and outside spaces creates a harmonious balance between rustic materials and contemporary design. Cool indeed.
