Any excuse to celebrate is a good one, but few are better than a new edition of Canada’s definitive handbook for the modern gentleman. And what a celebration it was: a bustling throng of the nation’s snappiest movers and shakers packed the SHARP + S/ Festival Experience event space to toast The Book For Men Fall/Winter 2016 edition.
Throughout the evening, cigars and Old Fashioneds flowed freely, courtesy of Bacardi. Conversations were kept fuelled by Sapporo, while appetites were satiated by Southern-inspired Toronto restaurant The Carbon Bar. The Balvenie brought back The Craftsmen series, showcasing the talents of the country’s finest artisans, and also took the opportunity to serve up their smoothest (and stiffest) single malts. There was no shortage of elegant distractions: Harley-Davidson gave guests the Jumpstart Rider Experience, Paco One Million Privé previewed their latest fragrances, and American Crew showcased today’s most dapper styles. At the night’s end, Volvo provided executive car service in their all-new S90.
We went big, then we went home.
