Bitters have somehow become synonymous with annoying hipster nonsense, like handlebar moustaches and pricing non-whites out of their neighbourhoods. But just because hipsters like bitters, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t, too.
Bitters are an integral part to building a proper drink. For example: Angostura Aromatic Bitters are a key ingredient in a proper Manhattan, while Black Pepper bitters from Twisted and Bitter are perfect in a Caesar. It’s time to start building a bitters collection like you do a liquor one.
