LEGO’s Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Is Built to Be Wild

Do you like motorcycles? Do you like LEGO? Well, boy, do we have something special for you! Today the LEGO Group unveiled the latest in the LEGO Creator Expert Series line: a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. The model, developed with the help of the iconic motorcycle company, stands at 7 inches tall and is comprised of 1,023 pieces.

It looks as close to the real deal as possible, featuring details like solid-disc wheels, a tear-drop fuel tank, an integrated speedometer, a functioning kickstand, and dual exhaust pipes. It even rocks the same red and black “wicked red” paint scheme as the IRL bike.

Speaking of said IRL bike — to celebrate the launch, the LEGO Master Builders created a life-sized version of the Fat Boy made from LEGO bricks, too. It took a zippy 865 hours to build and is comprised of over 69,000 pieces. The model will be displayed in select LEGO stores for fans to drool over.

You can cop the somewhat less complex model for $99 at the LEGO Store starting August 1.
