PUMA and Helly Hansen Come Together For a Collection Big on ’90s Vibes

Move over Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus — we’ve got a new favourite unlikely pairing. PUMA and Helly Hansen have decided to join forces for a collection that’s pretty much a dream come true for anyone still hung up on ’90s culture (i.e. all of us). As both brands had an indelible impact on streetwear during Will Smith’s favourite decade, the mash-up actually makes perfect sense.

With an emphasis on PUMA’s casual, athletic vibe and Hansen’s technical knowhow, the collection consists of co-branded jackets, sneakers, vests, hoodies, and other accessories. The pieces feature big logos with major nostalgia feels, while the consistent orange and black colour scheme, with occasional pops of teal and white, give the collab an urban-cool appeal. The chunky sneakers, beanie, and oversized waistbag, in particular, are true streetwear throwbacks. Throughout the line, however, contemporary tweaks are made via the addition of outdoorsy details and elements.

Items we’re most pumped about? The PUMA x Helly Hansen Reversible Jacket and Trailfox MTS sneakers. They are, in the parlance of ’90s youths, the bomb.

The entire collection drops globally at PUMA.com, PUMA stores, HellyHansen.com, Helly Hansen stores, and selected retailers on September 26.
