No golfer in the PGA Tour has personal style quite like Rickie Fowler. Flat-brimmed caps. Untucked shirts. Outfits of head-to-toe orange. Fowler has never been shy about making a style statement on the golf course. Unsurprisingly, he’ll make a splash this Thursday when The Player’s Championship kicks off. How? He’ll be wearing the recently released PUMA Golf x Palm Tree Crew Collection. The new line is a collaboration between Fowler, his long-time sponsor, and the Palm Tree Crew, a lifestyle brand created by DJ, music producer, and avid amateur golfer, Kygo.
The collection bridges life on and off the course. Its pieces are technical enough to wear while playing 18 holes under the sun, but comfortable enough for running errands. For example, an elasticated waistband designed to make swinging the golf club a breeze cleverly hides inside a timeless pair of navy shorts. Another staple of any good golf outfit is the polo, and the PUMA x PTC Edition Polo can easily live off the course thanks to its all-over palm tree print. For your head, there’s even a snapback cap with rope detailing. The ever present palm tree logo is a reference to Kygo’s brand of “tropical house” music that made him famous.
You can improve your style, on or off the golf course, now at PUMA Golf. But alas, you’ll have to wait until mid-April for what might be the collection’s most exciting release of all: a limited edition version of Ricky Fowler’s new Tour shoe. Watch out for them this Thursday. They’ll be hard to miss.
