Tissot has officially planted its flag in Canada, opening the doors to its first standalone boutique on our side of the border, and bringing the Swiss watchmaker’s signature blend of heritage and innovation to downtown Montreal. Located at street level on Sainte-Catherine Street in the Montreal Eaton Centre, the new space marks an important step in the brand’s North American growth plan, offering a more immersive way to experience Tissot beyond its current network of multi-brand retailers.
Occupying roughly 650 square feet, the boutique feels bold and modern, leaning into the brand’s sporting personality and designed to spotlight Tissot’s best-known watch collections. A vaulted display structure anchors the space, while interactive elements — including a hologram presentation — add a contemporary edge. The store also includes on-site L’Atelier services, giving customers direct access to professional watch repair, maintenance, and restoration.

The in-store experience is guided by brand-trained Tissot Ambassadors, offering clients personalized service and education on the brand’s watch collections. Visitors will also find early access to new releases, alongside a strong lineup of standout models, including the Limited Edition RockWatch, PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 50th Anniversary edition, as well as the current line of MotoGP and PRX references.

Choosing Montreal for the brand’s first Canadian boutique was no accident. Founded in Le Locle, Switzerland, in 1853, Tissot shares a strong cultural connection with the city’s Francophone roots, making it a fitting home for a flagship-style location. “Opening our first Canadian boutique in Montreal is a significant moment for Tissot,” says Rick Ostrom, Managing Director of Tissot Canada. “It gives us the chance to connect more closely with Canadian customers and to present our collections in a space that truly captures the spirit of the brand.”

Beyond its watches, Tissot remains deeply connected to global culture through partnerships with the NBA, MotoGP, and the Tour de France, as well as ambassadors like Damian Lillard, Enea Bastianini, Primož Roglič, Liu Yifei, and Simon Gong. The Montreal boutique brings that global energy into a local setting, offering a welcoming new destination for watch enthusiasts in the heart of the city.
