Dubbed “The Dalmore Decades”, the collection offers a range of whiskies spanning the last six decades, with bottles from 1951 to 2000. Curated by Master Distiller Richard Paterson, the collection represents a culmination of his 50 years of experience crafting exceptional scotches. Each single malt scotch celebrates the innovative creators and stories behind the 180-year-old brand and is an ode to the maker’s commitment to excellence. Time to make some room on the top shelf.

The Dalmore Decades 1951 – ‘Royal Heritage’
A 60-year-old single malt scotch, aged in twin sherry casks, with notes of black treacle, ginger spice and cocoa powder. The 1951 scotch is one of the oldest whiskies to ever be released by The Dalmore.
The Dalmore Decades 1967 – ‘Expertly Composed Spirit’
A beautiful 53-year-old single malt scotch that provides complex layers of clementine, tangy ground coffee and hints of muscovado, as a result of its final ageing in a Mont-Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine barrique.
The Dalmore Decades 1979 – ‘Curating Exquisite Casks’
This 40-year-old single malt is a homage to the relationship between González Byass and The
Dalmore. The whisky contains notes of sultanas and toasted pistachios, finishing with hints of maple syrup, pineapple and dates.
The Dalmore Decades 1980 – ‘Unbroken Chain of Visionaries’
The 1980 single malt takes the traditional maturation methods of The Dalmore and reverses it the result is a beautifully harmonized scotch with hints of bitter chocolate, marzipan and cocoa powder.
The Dalmore Decades 1995 – ‘The Creation of an Icon’
This 25-year-old scotch is matured in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Tintilla de Rota port pipes. It offers notes of red berries, glazed nectarines, frangipane and soft whispers of pecan pie.
The Dalmore Decades 2000 – ‘Into the New Millennium’
The final whisky of The Dalmore Decades is also one of the most distinctive. Aged for 20 years in a Matusalem Oloroso sherry butt, the 2000 single malt scotch offer notes of black maraschino cherry and bitter chocolate with final hints of licorice and tarte Tatin.
The Dalmore will also extend the opportunity for collectors to acquire two other remarkable pieces of the brand’s history with the No. 4 and No. 5 Collections.
The No.4 Collection contains 25 prestigious sets of four Decades whiskies with bottles aged as far back as 1979. The No.5 Collection has 15 sets with bottles aged more than 50 years. Both include decanters engraved with the set number, a black collar, and stopper and will be available at selected retail stores around the world between £100,000 and £200,000.
