Good To Be Bad: SHARP’s Toronto Launch of Bad Boy Le Parfum

The official Bad Boy Le Parfum launch party took over one of Toronto’s hottest bars this past month, as many of the city’s most influential content creators, business leaders, and VIPs sipped specialty cocktails, tasted premium hors d’oeuvres, and enjoyed a top-shelf champagne tasting, all while celebrating the arrival in Canada of one of the year’s most exciting fragrances.

Located in a top-secret speakeasy accessible only by special invitation: guests are escorted through a hidden passageway behind the central dining room, and, as they entered the event, were treated to a spritz of the fragrance as a kind of secret handshake for admission. With its moody atmosphere and dark décor, it was the perfect playground for the official Bad Boy party — especially as decked out for the occasion with neon lightning bolts in honour of the cologne’s signature bottle.

Actor and model Josh Upshaw, the new face of the fragrance, was on hand to meet and greet, making the rounds in an understated all-black outfit that suited the occasion. Also making a much-hyped appearance was brand creative director Carolina A. Herrera, daughter of the legendary Carolina Herrera. (Guests could also flip through the latest issues of the SHARP and the Book for Men, both of which were available on tables throughout the bar.) Between the exquisite drinks, excellent food, and enviable company, it was a night to remember.
