Toronto’s favourite prog-jazz experimentalists, BADBADNOTGOOD, played their biggest hometown show yet at Massey Hall on Friday. Billed by Red Bull Sound Select (who made the magic happen via their 3 Days In Toronto series) as the outfit’s version of The Last Waltz, it was a sprawling, virtuosic, mind-melting evening full of collaborative jams by the band and their many friends (who included Charlotte Day Wilson, River Tiber, and surprise guest Jay Electronica.)
