Hermès, like many luxury brands, has been name-checked in countless songs over the years, with The Weeknd, Jay-Z, Drake, and Travis Scott among the artists who have referenced the French house in their lyrics. But with its latest launch, Hermès edges closer to music than ever before.

New for 2026, the Hermès turntable is a treat for both the eyes and the ears. Inside its smooth, oblong case, a flash of mirror-polished chrome contrasts with the depth of rich, matte calfskin. Trimming the sides and sitting supremely on the platter, this leather is available in four colours: black, natural pop, orange juice, and limoncello.

Any branding is deliberately understated, appearing only in subtle, toned-down touches across the design. The Hermès name is delicately engraved into the chrome, while the house’s “Paris” stamp can be seen on the dust cover. The most distinctive mark, however, is the Clou de Selle — the iconic stud inspired by the head of a traditional saddle nail. It’s usually found on the Maison’s leather goods and jewellery, but here it quietly balances the tonearm.

A dual control button, inspired by the tactility of vintage cameras, switches the system on and allows users to adjust volume or select speed (the turntable can play 33 or 45 rpm vinyl). It’s a refined addition to any home listening setup — and, with credentials like these, it’s more than worthy of another Hot 100 name-drop.
