Lately, Q-Tips have taken to branding themselves as the “Men’s Ultimate Multi-Tool” on their packaging. Realistically, we can’t think of that many uses for the cotton swabs, but ear cleaning probably shouldn’t be one of them. Often, sticking swabs in your ear only pushes earwax deeper, which can lead to hearing loss or a nasty infection. The worst part of this is you actually need your earwax to keep dust and dirt away from the eardrum.
