Roger Dubuis

There are basically two kinds of watch brands in the world: those whose designs look back to the 20th century’s golden eras of watchmaking and those that look ahead to the design possibilities of the 21st. This is precisely what Roger Dubuis set out to do from day one, though in recent years that aesthetic has grown to push more boundaries than ever before. Many watchmakers these days endeavour to make use of new materials and new technologies in their products, few take that mission as seriously as this firm. From its significant use of carbon fibre variants, to its groundbreaking skeletonization techniques, to its partnership with Pirelli to use actual Formula 1 tires in the construction of its rubber straps, you never really know what approach the brand will take next.
