The World’s Longest Zip Line Is Equivalent to 28 Football Fields
The United Arab Emirates is at it again — topping the list of the world’s biggest, tallest, most expensive…well, everything. This time it’s got the world’s longest and highest zip line, beating out current 2,200-metre record holder “The Monster” in Puerto Rico.
It’s located on the UAE’s highest peak, Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, which is anticipated to be the new hub of adventure tourism in the Middle East.
The zip line will reach speeds up to 80 mph and with its side-by-side cables you can feed your adrenaline hunger with the entire family.
The exact height and length of the project by Ras Al Khaimah and Toro Verde, the current record holder, is still top secret, but once it’s open to the public in early December it’s bound to be a terrifying thrilling experience.
