VIP guests gathered at The Loft in LOUIX LOUIS, located on the 31st floor of The St. Regis Toronto; SHARP chauffeured a select few in INFINITI’s newest luxury offering, the QX80. In celebration of the festival, guests included filmmakers, content creators, fashion designers, business executives, and entrepreneurs who reflect Toronto’s impact on cinema and culture. Once the guests arrived, they were greeted by a stunning view of the Toronto skyline, the TIFF celebrations taking place below, and a look at LOUIS LOUIX’s scotch and whisky collection.
LOUIX LOUIS hosts one of North America’s largest collections, boasting a variety of 500 dark spirits. During the dinner, guests enjoyed top-shelf whisky expressions by The Macallan — an official partner of LOUIX LOUIS. It’s one of only two locations in Eastern Canada to offer the Macallan M Black bottle. The restaurant curated a set of experiences for the Toronto International Film Festival, including an elegant presentation of The Macallan’s 25-vear-old Sherry Oak, complete with smoke effects and a gourmet caviar garnish.
Sitting down for an intimate four-course meal — the main course featuring duck breast with red endive, beets, and polenta — each plate was expertly paired with The Macallan’s most renowned expressions. Throughout the dinner, plates were complemented by The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old, The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old, The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, and The Macallan Rare Cask.

Alongside the top-shelf expressions, IWC offered attendees the opportunity to view a selection of their most exclusive pieces, including IW503702-Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 44, IW388110-Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41, IW389105-Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Lake Tahoe,” and more. With TIFF films premiering on the streets surrounding LOUIX LOUIS, IWC offered the chance for guests to experiences watches worthy of the red carpet.
