Watch Aubrey Plaza as a Foul-Mouthed Nun in ‘The Little Hours’ Trailer
It is finally, legitimately official. There’s nothing sacred left in the world that comedy writers wouldn’t dare contaminate with their crude, amazing, dirty, hilarious minds. The last vestige of hallowed ground to be bulldozed? A convent, complete with a group of nuns that sound like they just came blazing off the stage of Jerry Springer.
Set in an olden-day nunnery, The Little Hours follows a servant fleeing from his master who takes refuge among nuns who swear, seduce men and each other, and perform pagan rituals. Loosely based on a portion of Boccaccio’s The Decameron, the movie — written and directed by Life After Beth‘s Jeff Baena — features a stacked cast that includes Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, and Nick Offerman.
