Have Suit, Will Travel
The term “travel suit” might conjure nightmares of unbreathable, formaldehyde-coated menswear monstrosities. But the technology is changing, and so are the suits. New fabrications (high-twist yarns to fight off wrinkles at Paul Smith and Strellson) and construction techniques (relaxed fits at Louis Vuitton and unlined sections of jackets at Brooks Brothers) make suiting more resilient and crease-resistant, without sacrificing style. If gymnasts can pull off a routine in one of Paul Smith’s travel suits, you’ll have no trouble walking into your meeting looking as crisp as when you boarded the plane in the morning.
