1. Using back-entrance, Trump enters the White House

“Donald Trump met with Barack Obama for 90 minutes today, using the White House’s South Lawn entrance to avoid photographers and the president’s staff. 2. Ottawa offers to renegotiate NAFTA

“Justin Trudeau is willing to renegotiate NAFTA, Canada’s ambassador to the U.S. said in a conference call with reporters. Trudeau and the president-elect, who campaigned vigorously on tearing up the trade deal, spoke on the phone last night. “The immediate effort to curry favour with the president-elect less than 24 hours after the U.S. vote is a significant move to develop a co-operative relationship with a leader who is Mr. Trudeau’s political opposite.” – Globe and Mail

3. With Trump’s election, it’s boom time for Washington lobbyists
