Nike Bloor Opens Its Doors to the Toronto Community

Nike has officially opened the doors to its new home in Toronto, and not a moment too soon. With the holiday season quickly approaching, Nike Bloor — located at 23 Bloor Street E. in the city’s epicentre of high-end fashion and luxury retail — arrived just in time to provide Torontonians with the best sportswear gifts available.

Nike Bloor’s 17,000-square-foot building is the 44th location in the Canadian fleet, cementing Nike’s return to Bloor after 11 years. The store marks the brand’s second downtown location, with Nike Eaton Centre encompassing a staggering 18,000 square feet across two floors.

The new standalone Nike Bloor location was designed to “ignite a love of sport and serve passionate local athletes” by providing direct access to the brand’s most premium assortment of innovations across running, training, and sportswear.

With a rejuvenated presence, Nike’s aim is to offer consumers the best in-store, full family shopping experience in the marketplace. The first level is dedicated to women and kids, underscoring Nike’s commitment to creating “meaningful innovation, design, and experiences for Her.” The second floor showcases the latest in men’s training, running, and sportswear products.

Just in time for the season, Nike Bloor opened with a winterized running assortment, perfect for those gearing up for training in cold weather conditions. Whether you’re running in the rain with the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE-TEX; in the dark with the Nike Pegasus 41 PRM; or in the mud with the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 GORE-TEX, Nike Bloor has you covered. The store will also feature Retro Running products like the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 and Nike V2K Run which celebrate Nike’s rich history as a running brand through the lens of style.

The emergence of Nike Bloor feels symbolic of the ubiquitous sportswear brand’s larger mission of reintegrating itself with Toronto’s vibrant running community. By opening its doors — both figuratively and literally — to the public, this season marks a new chapter for Nike in Toronto. In that same vein, customers were invited to join Nike Athletes, teammates, and partners for the store’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. To keep the energy going, December 6–8, the public can experience a limited-edition customization pop-up, offering the unique opportunity to customize Nike apparel using a silk-screening process with custom designs created exclusively for Nike Bloor by beloved local Toronto artist, Sloan Brown, known widely for his sports-centric design brands like Rookie Made.
