Tom Hanks Doing Lines From ‘Forrest Gump’ Will Make You Very, Very Happy

Last week, on The Graham Norton Show, Tom Hanks reminded us all why he’s the most charming man in Hollywood.

While most actors are loathe to rehash old roles, Hanks seems happy to go along with it when Norton brings up his classic, Oscar-winning role as Forrest Gump, even going so far as to recite a few lines from the scene where Forrest discovers how much he likes to run.

He goes on to give some sage advice to his fellow guests Joseph Gordon Levitt and Gemma Arterton, saying that “Every interview will be about ‘Forrest Gump’ at some point. You’ll have the same thing.”

“It’s going to haunt you for the rest of your life,” he tells them after the bit. “Don’t embrace the hits too much! Be careful, be careful.”
