Home of the Week: Mirador House, Chile

A game of tetris is brought to life by Gubbins Arquitectos with this stacked, brutalist-by-way-of-modern home in Chile. Emerging from the rocky terrain of the Cachagua coastline, this abode stands out in its striking form, drinking in the sweeping views of both mountain and sea.

It boasts a large open-concept living space joined by two terraces on opposite sides, each with different vistas. A steel spiral-staircase at the centre leads to a magnificent roof terrace.
