Case Study: Mid-Sized Watches That Are Big on Style
Like the length of hemlines and the width of lapels, the “right” size for a men’s watch is a moving target. Some varieties, such as diver’s watches and pilot’s watches, are oversized for specific historical reasons (namely legibility and durability), while others, like dress watches, tend to look better in a smaller, thinner case. These days, however, there’s more diversity than ever before in the watch world, and a wider range of case sizes across the board to choose from. Here are a few of our favourites in the 40mm-and-under category.
